Starry Night with TARDIS

I made this having been inspired by the recent Doctor Who episode Vincent and the Doctor. And no...I didn't repaint a masterpiece. I'm using a photograph of the original here, and did my best to digitally reproduce Vincent Van Gogh's technique on the Time and Relative Dimensions In Space machine.

T-shirts, iPad covers, prints, etc...over here.

UPDATE: I have been forced to update this image, linking to a heavily watermarked image and taking out any links to larger versions. Someone is on ETSY selling this image on products as if it were theirs. I also saw a merchant at Gallifrey One selling small prints of this work. Live and learn.

BRILLIANT! I'd love it as a framed print for my living room. Fine art -- with a sense of humor.

Brilliant stuff Terry! Might have to stick one of those in my own Tardis.

How can I get a shirt with this image?

Anonymous September 28, 2012 at 4:42 AM

I in fact did a project for my high school art project, a series of pictures with TARDIS's in the background and it included Starry Night.

I've now added a link to my RedBubble page under the image. :-)

I used your version of starry night as inspiration for a quilt, I thought you might like seeing the finished result: http://www.quiltsofafeather.com/2013/12/the-doctors-starry-night-quilt.html

Hello the artist.
I'm hoping you might permit me to use your image for accents in my upcoming wedding. There would be no money made from it, but would make people smile and it would make me very happy to know that while the aunts and uncles are admiring the Starry Night elements, there's a little Tardis right there under their noses.
If anyone reading this knows of a better way to reach the artist, please let me know here in the comments.
Thank you.
