Dirty WHOers Podcast - Episode 8

More time consuming tequila-powered self-referential tosh.

This week we tried to talk about Moffet's latest, Time of Angels, but we all had the same opinion, Fuschia was jet lagged, Sen finally gave up on the others and evolved into pure energy, Terry had a headache so wasn't drinking, and Sputters went off on a 30 minute rant about how Alpha Centauri was the best 'companion' ever and the show needs more giant green willies to bring it back to the core family values of the 70s (which we had to cut out).

I'd give it a miss if I were you, and go check out Cyber Testicle, Podshock, Happiness Patrol or something cool from Podcast Alliance.

You were warned. Abandon hope all ye who download here. At least it's mercifully short. Please throw any comments in the usual place.

This is one of the LOST DirtyWHOers Episodes, no longer available for streaming from iTunes etc., but is available for download from our Dropbox archive HERE.

Just a thought about River Song. She says she's met the Doctor several times before, but needs a spotters' guide. And yet /he/ had not met her before the Library, or at least seems to have no recollection of that. This could potentially be linked to "Time being re-written" as mentioned in Flesh and Stone.
Pixie mentioned the Prof's hypothesis that River could be the Doctor's daughter. This could be the case, and would be likely. Not Jenny, but Susan's mother. (Do we know if the Doctor was her father or her mother's progenitor?) She could be someone from the Doctor's past. She could even be his wife (and thus Susan's grandmother) [though... it seems to be pointed out a bit too much, and who knows with Moffat.]

On a lighter note, my younger sister unwittingly visited one of her favourite haunts in Paris last Friday, having watched The Time of Angels not too long before. And found herself quite silly to have done so. You'd think she would have remembered that the Père Lachaise cemetery in Paris is full of angel statues...
